For October 6, forecasters expect scattered light rain across lower elevations alongside light snowfall in upper reaches, accompanied by strong surface winds and thunder.
The weather office provided the following outlook for the week ahead:
October 7: Mostly dry conditions, with isolated light showers possible.
October 8: Overcast skies with scattered rain in lowlands and light snow over elevated terrain.
October 9: Largely dry throughout the day, though brief isolated showers may develop by late afternoon or evening.
October 10: A renewed spell of instability, bringing morning rain, high-altitude snowfall, thunderstorms, and brisk winds to many sectors.
October 11–13: A brief reprieve with predominantly dry weather across the region.
October 14–15: The return of widespread cloud cover, light rain, mountain snowfall, and localized gusty storms.
Authorities have issued an advisory urging the public to exercise caution during active weather windows, particularly warning residents to steer clear of vulnerable structures, mature trees, and power lines during heavy gusts. Farmers are specifically advised to protect harvested paddy and apple produce from moisture exposure between October 6 and October 10.
