Worker Protection & SOPs: Deputy Commissioners and Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) were directed to re-evaluate safety protocols for non-local laborers. Employers must register out-of-state workers with local authorities and ensure they are covered by insurance.
Amarnath Yatra Safety: Officials reviewed measures to fortify the security grid along the pilgrimage route, focusing on active traffic control, regular vehicle checks, and strict enforcement of prepaid service protocols for authorized vendors.
