
C.A Correspondent|| Rajouri, 16 July: In a significant crackdown against drug trafficking and its financial networks District Police Rajouri has attached immovable properties worth over ₹ 27 lacs belonging to notorious drug peddler under the stringent provisions of the NDPS Act.Police Station Rajouri attached an immovable property belonging to:
- Waseem Akram S/O Parvaiz Akhter R/O Fatehpur Danna Tehsil & district Rajouri
The attached property comprises a single storey residential building at Village Fatehpur Danna of Rajouri valued at approx ₹27 lac.The accused is involved in multiple NDPS cases registered at different police stations of District Rajouri.The attached property is a residential house situated at Fatehpur Danna, Rajouri, which was identified as having been illegally acquired through proceeds of drug trafficking. Entire action was carried out under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act after thorough investigation established that the accused were actively involved in illicit trafficking of narcotic substances and had accumulated assets through drug-related activities.The attachments were executed after completing all legal formalities and in full compliance with the law.
