RAJOURI, JULY 21: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, along with SSP Rajouri, Gaurav Sikarwar, today visited Aiti, Abdullah Bridge and other adjoining flood-affected areas to assess the damage caused by the recent flash floods and review the ongoing relief measures.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with local residents, listened to their grievances and assessed the ground situation. The Deputy Commissioner assured the affected families that the District Administration is fully committed to providing all possible assistance and ensuring timely relief and rehabilitation.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to remain on the ground, closely monitor the situation and ensure the prompt restoration of essential services wherever affected. He also instructed the field functionaries to maintain close coordination and extend all necessary support to the affected population.
District and sectoral officers accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during the visit.
