RAJOURI, JULY 23: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, today visited the flood-affected areas of Nowshera to assess the damage caused by the recent heavy rains and flash floods.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the affected localities, including Bela Nowshera, where he interacted with local residents to understand the extent of losses suffered by them. He assured the affected families that the District Administration stands firmly with them and that all possible assistance will be extended in accordance with government norms.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to carry out a comprehensive assessment of the damages and ensure prompt relief and restoration measures. He also emphasized the need for close coordination among departments to restore normalcy at the earliest and address the grievances of the affected people on priority.
ADC Nowshera, Pritam Lal Thapa, along with other district and sectoral officers, accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during the visit.
