Tripura Director General of Police (DGP) Anurag Dhankar, an IPS officer, was found dead inside his office at the Police Headquarters in Agartala on Monday. According to preliminary information, he is suspected to have taken his own life. He was rushed to GB Pant Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Senior police officials have secured the area, and an investigation is underway. The exact cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem examination.
