Rajouri, June 15: To commemorate the successful completion of 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led Government, the BJP Rajouri unit under the leadership of District President Dev Raj Sharma organised a massive Pad Yatra at the BG Bhatadhurian Tunnel in Manjakote constituency of Rajouri district.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from BJP leaders, office bearers, Morcha representatives, and party workers who highlighted the transformational achievements of the Modi Government during the last twelve years, particularly in infrastructure development, border connectivity, national security, welfare initiatives, and public empowerment.
Addressing the gathering, BJP District President Dev Raj Sharma said that the last twelve years have ushered in a new era of development and progress across the country, with Jammu & Kashmir emerging as one of the biggest beneficiaries of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership.
“The BG Bhatadhurian Tunnel and the Rajouri-Poonch Highway project stand as shining examples of the Modi Government’s commitment towards strengthening border infrastructure and ensuring all-weather connectivity in remote areas. These projects are transforming the socio-economic landscape of Rajouri-Poonch and opening new avenues of growth, tourism, trade and employment,” Sharma said.
He asserted that regions which remained neglected for decades are now witnessing unprecedented attention and investment under the Modi Government.
“The development visible across Rajouri-Poonch today is a testament to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve to bring border areas at par with the rest of the country. From world-class roads and tunnels to welfare schemes reaching the poorest households, every sector has witnessed remarkable progress. The people have seen the difference between politics of promises and politics of performance,” he added.
Sharma further stated that the Modi Government’s achievements over the last twelve years include strengthening national security, expanding infrastructure, empowering farmers, women and youth, improving public services, and ensuring transparent and corruption-free governance.
“The BJP is committed to taking the message of development and good governance to every village and every household. The vision of a developed India and a prosperous Jammu & Kashmir is becoming a reality under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.
The Pad Yatra concluded with BJP leaders and workers reaffirming their commitment to public service and the continued development of Rajouri-Poonch and Jammu & Kashmir.
