Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the rally cry “We Will Do It,” expressing firm confidence that India will achieve developed nation status by the centenary of its independence in 2047. Speaking at the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha in New Delhi to commemorate a quarter-century of continuous public service as head of government, the Prime Minister also cautioned against electoral caste divides, calling political fragmentation a major obstacle to national progress.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister emphasized that collective national challenges demand collective resolve rather than identity politics, pointing out that basic issues like water scarcity and power outages affect citizens irrespective of caste or background.
Modi underscored the country’s rapid socioeconomic transformation, referencing the upliftment of 25 crore citizens from poverty over the past decade as proof of what national resolve can accomplish. Expanding on the “We Will Do It” vision, he outlined several ambitious goals:
Attaining developed status (Viksit Bharat) by 2047
Breaking into the world’s top three economies
Becoming a self-reliant global manufacturing hub
Deepening space exploration milestones and bidding to host the Olympic Games
Progressing from global admiration for Indian talent toward establishing domestic commercial aviation manufacturing
Reflecting on his political journey since first taking the oath as Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, Modi credited the public and grassroots workers for his tenure across three state terms and three national mandates. Describing his 25-year institutional experience as an asset belonging entirely to the citizens of India, he reiterated that his governing approach has always been driven by purpose rather than personal political ambition.
Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister visited the Shri Vinayaka Temple in Sarojini Nagar, offering prayers for national prosperity and renewing his dedication to public service.
